Make a Pledge
You can make a regular monthly or quarterly donation through our pledge program. Simply mail in the pledge form with your information and we will charge your credit card. Check payments are accepted, too. Arrangements for credit card charges can also be made over the phone by calling our Fiscal Office at (253) 383-3056 ext 104.
Donate Stock
If you would like to make a gift of a stock or securities transfer, we ask that you call our fiscal office at (253) 383-3056 ext 104 for the necessary account information. A gift of stock that you have owned for more than a year may be deducted as a charitable contribution at the full fair market value and bypass capital gains taxes. For more information, please ask your financial advisor.
United Way, Combined Fund Drive, or Combined Federal Campaign:
Associated Ministries designation number is 9010. Please let us know if you make your gift through the United Way, CFD, or CFC.
Donate In-Kind Goods
Associated Ministries can accept goods that help us to operate our programs, serve our clients, and that sometimes even create new partnerships or opportunities. We take goods on an item-to-item basis and in bulk. All offers of goods will be reviewed to determine if they meet current needs. Bulk donations are typically new, packaged items that are transported by the donor. If you have an item or sizeable bulk donation that you would like to donate to Associated Ministries, please call (253) 383-3056 ext 115.
Some items Associated Ministries consistently seeks include the following:
AUCTION ITEMS:High-quality items and experiences are accepted year-round for our annual Spring Celebration in April. Please call the Development Director at (253) 383-3056 ext 115 if you have something you want to donate.
BLANKETS: Blankets are accepted October-November to be distributed to various programs for the homeless during severe weather months.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES: Project Interdependence accepts schools supplies for low-income kids July thru August.
OFFICE SUPPLIES: AM is always in need of office products to run our day-to-day operations.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS: October thru December, AM accepts gifts and money for children and adults of all ages. These gifts are given away to families the week of Christmas.
ADOPT-A-FAMILY: Give a family the joy of Christmas. You can adopt a low-income family for the holiday fulfilling their Christmas wishes and making real connections with families in need. Call Valorie at (253) 383-3056 ext 108 for more information.
Associated Ministriesdoes not accept food or clothing, but can direct you to our partner charities who distribute these items. We also cannot accept old home computers, because most often they are unable to support the up-to-date professional software required to operate the organization. In the end, it is more costly for us to accept such a donation.
Match Your Gift:
Many corporations and some civic and fraternal organizations offer matching gift programs for employees and their families. Most programs match on a dollar-per-dollar basis. A match can often double or triple your gift, and all matching support is credited to you provided that both halves of the matching gift are received within the same fiscal year (January 1 - December 31). Our tax identification number is 91-0847534. Associated Ministries is a 501(c)3 organization, and your gift is tax-deductible within the limitation of US federal income tax laws.
