Pierce County Asset Building CoalitionVolunteer preparers will prepare tax forms and answer tax questions, inform qualifying taxpayers about the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit, and file returns electronically for a quick turnaround on refunds. Project InterdependenceAssociated Ministries kindly requests the participation of your congregation in our mentorship program, which brings members of the faith community together to help individuals and families transition successfully from welfare to work. We are asking you to call on a member of your congregation or social concerns committee to help coordinate 2-5 individuals that would form a mentor team to work with a family in transition. Mentor teams offer support such as friendship, encouragement and practical hands-on experience to help a family achieve their goals.
